Hi, We have 3 laptops in my family: Latitude E6420 and E6430 and a Precision M4600. I wanted to upgrade all configs with an mSATA SSD which is placed into the WWAN (mPCI-e) connector.

In case of a D-series, no way to use a WWAN slot for a SSD. In case of a E-series, il would be possible, but not with all models and it would require a true Gen2 PCIe interface for the SSD.

To clarify; if there's an SATA SSD in either of the positions in the drive bay both SATA and PCIe/NVMe SSDs will work in the WWAN slot, if there's a PCIe/NVMe SSD drive in the drive bay only a SATA SSD will work in the the WWAN slot.
